I never thought sword fights actually happened, you know since guns were invented? Turns out it’s not something saved for aladdin. Earlier this week an epic sword fight erupted at the Sikh Temple in India and it was a sight to see(from a distance of course). Check out the fight below.
The fight was over who would speak at the ceremony marking the anniversary of operation blue star that kills hundreds of people in 1984.
Although I’m not a huge fan of the name (saul was my least favorite character) I’m too excited for this spin off of Breaking Bad. I just can’t let go! It was the only series that I actually get hooked on and couldn’t wait until the next show, and I don’t do that for any show, ever.
Premiering sometime in November 2014. Saul (Walter White’s lawyer) returns to Albuquerque to resume his career representing drug lords, criminals, and of course the people affected by minor fender binders. the network has already created a website based around the fictional lawyer Saul with his signature videos and testimonials of former clients.
The show is worth a little look over, hopefully it won’t fall short of Breaking Bad, but with the name “Better Call Saul” I can’t imagine it on my DVR like I can Breaking Bad. Still I’m too excited to see what the show will be like. Although I think it would be cool if Jessi Walter White’s partner decided to keep the legacy going and it would be call ‘Breaking Even’. A girl can dream can’t she? Oh well, will you be watching the spin off or is it time to let it go?
I’ve never understood the thigh gap. Growing up it wasn’t the epitome of beauty, if you had a thigh gap it meant your vagina was loose and you had way too much sex. That’s what I think about as far as the whole thigh gap situation goes. Apparently a lot of people are up in arms about the latest fashion film ‘The Magic Gap’ by Nowness that glorifies the gap. Blame this latest pointless uproar on the whole love yourself campaign. I get that there are impressionable young girls that may get the wrong idea if watching this video, but as you can see in this video the thigh gap is everywhere. I remember watching Oprah when I was younger and she was talking about how we’re supposed to have a gap in between our thighs. Of course, she jokingly said ‘I don’t know how but it’s supposed to be there!’ So it’s not anything new, people have been obsessed with it for years.
The artist Guy Aroch created this video to diffuse the controversial topic and bring beauty in to it instead of outrage. Although intentions were good, this was not the time or the place. With so many girls with negative views on their body image, was it right to try to post something glorifying what so many girls want to have already? Well if you listen to what the people are saying in the video you can tell there’s a lot more humor behind it than any real seriousness. At the end of the day I love how the video was shot, it was very nice to watch, then again I do like abstract videos. All I will say about the thigh gap is, it’s just a fad. And if you want young girls to start thinking that they are beautiful, maybe you should stop blaming the media and talk to your girls and tell them that they are beautiful. Or better yet, teach young girls that the most attractive thing is a personality, education, and a skill set instead of worrying why they don’t think that they are pretty. Teach them that it’s not all about how you look, beauty beauty fades.
An app called HappyPlayTime was recently rejected by Apple sometime last week. You would think with it’s childish name and design that it would be a great educational game. Well its educational alright, this app actually teaches you how to masterbate. And that adorable mascot is a vulva and her face is a clitoris.
Yes you read right, there’s a giant vagina on your phone teaching you how to pleasure yourself. As you guessed Apple refused to make the app staying in short “Thanks but No Thanks”
What happened to the old fashioned way of sticking your hand down there and going to town? Ladie, What do you think? Good or Bad idea for an app?
Have you ever been watching a porno and in mid jerk thought to yourself,”You know who would like this? MOM!” Yeah I didn’t think so, but apparently Brian Steinhoff does. So much so that he felt the need to make actual art from it. The series itself features just the floral silhouettes of pornstars doing pornstar things. The scenes are just in everyday homes, like a kitchen, of course a bed room, and other areas about the house. Continue reading →
I can’t lie after Artpop the album I wasn’t feeling Lady Gaga as much as I was before. I felt as if she had just became a gimmick and was losing what made her, her. But it’s really hard not to like Gaga with all her crazy antics she the lovable little freak we have all come to enjoy.
Her latest short film for G.U.Y. defiantly has me coming back on the GAGA train, just little. The opening scene as men in business suits chasing money falling from the sky while Lady Gaga lies with an arrow through her chest. I wonder if that represents the drama around ART POP. The video looks as if it’s heavily influenced by Italy, in light of her recent collaboration with Versace, she is very Donatella with that super straight platinum blonde hair. Take a look at the memorizing and enchanting scenes of the G.U.Y. video.
Iggy Azalea as Cher Horwitz has possibly been the smartest move any video producer could have made. The song is catchy up beat and embodies what clueless was all about, partying & looking pretty. Check out the video below and tell me what you think. Continue reading →
I’ve been getting tons of emails from you guys asking about Valentine’s day, and it’s not even the emails I expect. Usually around this time of year I get a ton of “K what am I supposed to do? Valentine’s day is 2 days away and I don’t have a boyfriend!” Now I did get a few of those, but mainly I got a ton of question asking my opinion on it. Which was strange to ask in general. But to be frank I don’t care about it, it’s a holiday just like anything else. I guess you can kind of say this is my view of Valentine’s Day brought to you by Comedian Marie Faustin. If you live under the rock then you probably haven’t seen Bruno Mars Super Bowl performance. The Grenade singer amazed crowds with his heart pounding beats and his amazing foot work not to mention bringing in the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Singing and dancing along to some of his top hits such as “Locked Out Of Heaven” “Treasure” and my personal fav. “Runaway Baby,” until his finale with the Red Hot Chili Peppers singing “Just the Way you Are.” All while Bruno and his crew rocked custom Yves St. Laurent suit. Watch the show here.

With the 90’s now becoming the best decade in the universe you can’t help but to think about the cartoons. Who could ever forget the Rugrats, or Hey Arnold? Those are the classics! Well that was years ago, what are they doing now? Well thanks to one artist on Tumblr that goes by the name of Celeste, we now know. Apparently they all became hot, fashionable and hipsters with none of the deformities that they had in their preteen years. Amazing. All photos are from Celeste’s Tumblr.
It’s the holiday’s time for joy and to be around the people you love, that’s what the holiday is all about. Also during the holiday time, there are a lot holiday movies most recently the chart topping movies were of an all black cast. This to me wasn’t that noticeable, but leave it to SNL to point it out by spoofing “Best Man Holiday” with ‘White Christmas’. It had all the makings of a black holiday movie gun toting grandma that says ‘Heller’, women snapping peas, and a guy wearing a necklace over a turtleneck, so sayeth the voice over guy.The skit wasn’t that bad I chuckled at some parts of it. But something about it made me uncomfortable, like casting a stereo type over every black holiday movie. I get that a lot of people will say “omg get over it it’s just a joke” but, it’s not. It’s like calling every thin girl bulimic and all the fat girl a food hoarder, it’s not cool. Apparently I’m not the only one there’s a slew of people on Twitter and Facebook that aren’t cool with this either. This just strengthens the case against SNL for not having enough minorities on staff, the fact that they had to do an all white christmas does raise an eyebrow. Either way, this isn’t cool, we won’t call Al on your ass but I can see SNL coming under some backlash for this one. What do you think? Continue reading →
