Top & Bottoms: Forever 21 | Necklace: Charming Charlie | Chain: Thrifted
It finally happened! I’ve been trying for weeks to wear this Kardashian Kollection dress that I bought a little over a month ago and Friday night I wore it out to Inferno! I absolutely love this dress it hugs everything just right and leaves just a little to the imagination. The only bad thing is that I lotioned up my feet before I left on the bottom and that can make it pretty hard to walk in, not to mention I downed a bottle of vodka before I left so I was stumbling when I got in the club. I wish I had more pictures for you all not just the ones before we got in but they haven’t posted any of them yet. So I guess they’ll be a PART DOS to this post I’ll defiantly post them! Besides from the all phone calls from random numbers and what my friends had told me it was quite a night to remember. All I can remember is going in VIP drinking spilling the drink all over my chest and having some chica lick it off I’m just as excited to see them as you are….
Until Next Time….
Forever 21 is every girls favorite brand, it has a lot of affordable clothing for cheap prices and it’s always is up on the latest trends. I know last year when I was in college me and my friends used to shop there all the time as soon as we had a little bit of money (and even if we didn’t) we were in Forever 21 buying a dress or a pair of shoes for a night out on the town. As the year went on I found my self growing less and less in love with the store espicially after one night we were in the club and I saw three different girls wearing my dress. Also the clothes I felt were a little to young and to main stream for the looks that I wanted to try and I wasn’t really having a style of my own since I was getting style from a place where everyone shopped, not even to mention the materials they used and the majority of the clothes don’t “hug” me right. So I was already turned off and promised myself that I would stop (or limit) my self from shopping there. Then today I read this article that said that there merchandise was produced in sweat shops–along with H&M and Zara–also what the textile production of the company. They use products that harm the environment and even there employees. Another reason (if those weren’t enough) was what the company actually stands for, the money that you put in for those must have jeans are funding anti-gay laws and causes along with Urban Outfitters 😦 and Anthropologie. The author of this article says to remedy the situation is to
- Do more thrift shopping at Good Will and the Salvation army,
- Reuse and Renew with in your own wardrobe,
- Shop organically from hand made or local designers
- Swap clothes with friends.
This ”shoot” was so funny, I took it with my puppies Milo and Abby and they were following me around the whole time they’re just so curious! To bad they were walking all around my feet I accidently stepped on Milo’s paw(sorry MyMy) no harm tho they were still to bouncy balls of fluff through out the whole shoot I love them to death! LOL
