I was never much of a flats
girl, I never thought they belonged in my wardrobe. I love my sky heels.
The bad thing about Sky High heels
, they aren’t that practical. I mean, maybe if you’re Mariah Carey
but come on, even Beyonce
doesn’t wear sky high heels
everyday like she used too (maybe because she has a kid to run after now). I always thought, in order to look crazy undeniably fashionable
you need heels, high heels, every moment of everyday.

That was until I saw a little movie called Breakfast At Tiffany’s. I’ve always been an Audrey’s fan ever since I saw her in Sabrina. When I saw her in Breakfast at Tiffany’s I was like Holly Golightly has a very lovely look, it was so simple yet so amazing. What the film made me really appreciated was the use of low heels and flats. I never thought that it’d be very fun, I haven’t worn a heel below 3 inches since I was in high school. But since I plan on classing my look up a tad bit more I thought I’d start with getting me a good pair of flats. But I don’t want to look like the girl who just threw on some simple shoes because these are my “everyday shoes” so I decided that my flats have to be…
- Classic, black and/or white
- Not suede, or patent leather
- Pointed Toe
- Strong Sturdy Material
Simple rules for a fantastic look, no? I may slip in a wedge or two to ease my pain (in my foot and in my heart) I can’t help it, I love my heels! I mean have you not seen my shoe-drobe? It’s not that I haven’t had flats before it’s just they’d lose shape, so easily, and end up looking so sloppy. Maybe because I never bothered to invest in them. I don’t know but I’ll defiantly try a kitten heel or a flat or two.
