I was browsing the collection to find a pair of nude pumps that I had fell in love with and saw this very furry mess. Now I’m not one for a fuzzy shoe, I mean what would you even begin to wear this with? Especially in the summer? God forbid it starts to rain, or you happen to find a wet spot or even step in something. This whole shoe is just, dysfunctional, at best. I mean the thing looks like Big Bird. What do you think of this shoe?

That was until I saw a little movie called Breakfast At Tiffany’s. I’ve always been an Audrey’s fan ever since I saw her in Sabrina. When I saw her in Breakfast at Tiffany’s I was like Holly Golightly has a very lovely look, it was so simple yet so amazing. What the film made me really appreciated was the use of low heels and flats. I never thought that it’d be very fun, I haven’t worn a heel below 3 inches since I was in high school. But since I plan on classing my look up a tad bit more I thought I’d start with getting me a good pair of flats. But I don’t want to look like the girl who just threw on some simple shoes because these are my “everyday shoes” so I decided that my flats have to be…
- Classic, black and/or white
- Not suede, or patent leather
- Pointed Toe
- Strong Sturdy Material

Recently, I’ve been on the brink of serious depression. I haven’t been the happiest of person’s, the littlest thing would just irritate me for hours til the point of no reason! I can’t begin to tell you how many packs of Newport’s I went through just to try to calm myself down. I would lay in bed thinking about what I was going to do, how was I going to pay for my bills? What am I doing with my life? What if I never get out of this rut? I didn’t have an answer for any of those questions it broke me this happened for three nights in a row.
One night I attempted to rest my eyes and again those negative thoughts started flooding my mind, they ran so deep that I literally felt my heart hurt. Yet I continued to lay there and let those thoughts flood my mind. even when I tried to think positive and tell myself it would work out the thoughts over powered me and just kept haunting me. Finally, after laying there til 4 am I just got tired of living my life in a constant state of fear and I said the words that sounded as if the clouds opened and God himself came down. “Fuck it” Those two little words seemed to mute the voices. I decided then that I wasn’t going to let this little funk get to me, and instead of worrying about what may happen I made things happen. I decided to make my problems in to solutions and really, just enjoy my life.
I know I’m not the only one going through it, so I decided to make a list of things that I am going to do from now on so I can enjoy the official start of my 20’s (since my 21st birthday is next monday!).
- Buy the shoes
Every time I went shopping I would see something I love but I would never get it. Why? Because I work part time and I never know if my paycheck will cover my bills. Although it typically does (9 times out of 10) I’d be freaked to buy them even if they were on sell. So I decided, I won’t be reckless, but I’m going to get the d-mn shoes if I love them.
- Get out more
- Indulge in my creative side
- Explore everything
- Smile, laugh, and stay positive
These are my Christian louboutin platforms and I love them. I know what you’re thinking “Kimberly, you’ve had these for almost a month, and we haven’t even seen them in an ootd? What kinda ish is that?” well I have a reason for that dearie, you see that platform? And that heel? It makes me about 6’5 not to mention I don’t have an occasion to wear them too.
So alas they are just beauties left in my closet til I get an occasion worthy enough to wear them to. Le sigh oh well. But aren’t they beautiful?
One thing I love about Instagram is it helps me indulge in my passion with out actually indulging. I can see underground designers that aren’t quite in the big leagues yet amazing designs without traveling all over to find them. Take for instance Angels Of Miracle Shoes, Their shoes designs are sickening with a mix of studs, spikes, rhinestones, leopard print, and neon colors, this line is not for the faint of heart. There latest collection is called Good Girl-Bad Girl which incorporates that daring mix of Leopard and studs with their statement color gold on the bottoms of every shoes.
As far as a good pair of shoes goes they aren’t that pricey but still quite a splurge prices usually vary between $149.00 to $200.00 but it’s defiantly worth it for a statement pair of shoes like these! You can check out more styles at http://www.angelsofmiracle.com/

“I ain’t mad at Steve Madden”
Keyshia Cole as teamed up with Steve Madden to create a shoe line set to be released this November. On the photo above she is seen in one of her designs on 106 and park. If you know me I love Steve madden cute chic and affordable (let’s face it we’re not all rich) but it’s not on the top of my “must buy” list of designer shoes. Keyshia Cole pairing with them is a wonderful thing but as far as the actual shoe designs, are more for summer than fall, or fall set in the LA area but not for everyone. But I’ll defiantly be supporting Keyshia (maybe) will you?

Seriously can Louboutin do any wrong? Just released for his 20th year anniversary the above boots are the Python Boots retail price at $2,659 (wow). Below are the Isolde pumps which is eerily similar to the Rodarte Heels, maybe those were a preview for what was next to come! These babies retail at $3,995 there gold and spiked and dangerous. Would you rather be spiked or covered in snakeskin?
I know, I’ve been a little faulty with the You Tube. It’s been more rants and less about actual fashion but that is set to change soon I recently updated it with a review of shoes and tips that will be on there and some more fabulous things but check out the video about and let me know what you think and what you want to see!
This was an amazing weekend, as you know I went up to my home state and I will soon post some photos even though there defiantly aren’t many. But I have plenty of shoe pictures to show you 😉
As you (should) know I love shoes, especially heels. I could wear a pair of heels for days feet and knee problems and all no ones going to tell me I can’t wear heels and trust I rarely settle for anything below 3″. So when I came across Jessica Simpson’s shoe line you know I was floored. Yes, I’ve known she’s had a shoe line for a while I just never paid any mind to it, but when I saw a girl on Chictopia with a pair of shoes I had to have and I found out they were Jessica’s. You know I had to check out what she had. Dozen’s upon dozen’s of shoes I was speechless opening new tabs of every shoes that caught my eye thinking of the outfits I could wear them with. I was in shoes heaven my heart was racing and my palms sweating, I knew I hadn’t fed my addiction in a while but damn, right about now if a guy wanted to purpose to me I’d prefer a pair of Louboutins to a engagement ring seriously I would! n_n
