Beyonce dawns her classic blonde hair then does a quick change to black (which I love) while dancing and singing in the caribbean sun while debuting her new song “Standing on the Sun”. Everything about this song is love, from the fashion to the music to the dancing, but with all that sand in the air it had to have gotten in someone’s eye. Ouch
Ever since I was younger I never understood why people work out in the summer to get their beach body, you seriously have to have at least few months before you see any real results. I did not sign up for that. I love to barely work out and indulging in food, you can’t do that if you wait til summer to work out. The solution? Do it in the winter! Since you’re already layered and bundled up anyway, and you spend most times indoors why not hit the gym and tone and trim up for the summer time. Now in the summer all you have to do is enjoy the sun!

Nothing better than a summer love, right? Those fun summer days of walking through the park together,seeing the summer blockbusters cozy in the theater. Let’s not forget those summer nights of strolling on the beach and partying together at the bonfire. They’re great you want them to last forever but sadly we all know that very few of them do. People go back to school and others simply lose contact, sorry for the grim out look but it’s the terrible truth. Want to see if you and your beau make the lucky few that make it? Here are some fun little tips to make the most out of your some fun and turn that fling in to a romance.
1. Have Fun
That’s the most important thing, chances are if you have a good time with someone you’ll keep talking to them. Learn more about the person and do things that you both enjoy doing not just you or the typical summer things go out the box and have fun with each other. In other words DON’T STRESS IT!!
2. Don’t rush in to it
You know the phrase easy come easy go. Perfect example, if you rush into it the flame will soon leave. There is no rush to have a summer boyfriend because that will be it and in the end you’ll realize that you two have nothing in common and quickly fizzle.
3. Be Realistic
This isn’t Grease. This is a summer thing, don’t take it like you’re about to walk down the aisle. If you met him at your summer beach house or on a road trip with your friends at the beach then chances are he’s not going to be around for the winter months, have fun with him there and once you leave, leave your feelings there and be happy with the memories.
4. Keep contact.
Now please don’t blow up his phone, but when the summer dwindles down it’s OK to check in with the occasional texts. You can wish him happy holidays or a hey, was sup text ask him how he’s doing and after he says good you don’t have to go in to details leave with a smiley face and TTYL. Keep moving forward text him once in a while like as often as you would hit up an old friend on FB. Nothing serious, just keep the friendship alive.
Accept that this is a summer fling. No matter how much you want it to work there’s a slim chance that it will. Not saying that it won’t but don’t put your money on it. Basically enjoy your summer and try not to put your heart in something to soon that may not last.
These are just general guidelines of a summer romance but if you keep contact most likely you guys can remain friends and maybe try to make something real happen. Not trying to discourage you or anything or saying that you guys will fail. Have fun though and remember this is only timed for the summer ladies, you’re young hot and single have summer flings don’t take them seriously it’s not a “real” relationship. Good Luck

I love the shorts and stockings look. I’ve always wanted to try it, it’s a fun funky look that is so simple to pull off. Its a nice casual look and an interesting spin on a cute easy out fit. You could wear the look with a simple tee shirt or even with a a little more dressy top. I wouldn’t wear it with long short such as Bermuda shorts or anything that is knee length, it just wouldn’t look right. Although the shorts don’t have to be as short as mine but short shorts are the best way to pull of this fun and funky look.

Make up can’t conceal everything you need a good foundation before putting on your foundation. Beautiful skin is what is hot for just about every season, every style and looks great on everyone. Little do you know most in fact a vast majority are sabotage themselves in to having bad skin. Those fun late nights, smoking cigarettes and sleeping with makeup on reek havoc on your skin! Your skin especially your facial skin is VERY sensitive, it can’t take all the damage and hard core acts that the skin on your other body can. But with these simple tips you can have fresh youthful glow that people crave!
Believe it or not your diet has a lot to do with the condition of your skin. Watch what your putting in to it all that caffeine is a no go! Caffeine is a stimulant it speeds up EVERYTHING in your body, including your oil glands which help produce Acne. I’m not trying to tell you to stop drinking it just limit your intake, drink water instead! Water flushes out your system, it get rids of all the toxins in your body and helps with that glow. BONUS!! Water can also help in weight loss.
You need to exfoliate it get rid of all the dead skin cells and give you a true deep clean. Try to do it once twice a week (I used to everyday) depending on your skin sensitivity! Creams are not always enough you need to scrub your skin GENTLY to buff the skin and make it shine! Make sure you don’t scrub like you would do on your body it’s to rough.Also Make sure you don’t use facial scrubs products with nuts,seeds or other harsh ingredients in them it to harsh on skin. Those types of scrubs are good for your feet. 🙂
3. Salicylic Acid & Benzoic acid
These are chemicals that are in acne products. The higher the percentage the more effective the product will be. Make sure you read the back of the bottle for the drug facts it should be right under ‘Active Ingredient’ most commonly you will have a product with Salicylic Acid it is less harsh then Benzoic Acid in order to get that it would be better to go to your Dermatologist.
Simply put don’t do it. Every day your hands touch things that are riddled with germs and then you put those germs right on your face. Not good. So keep your hands away from your face to limit that. Most importantly DO NOT POP OR PICK AT YOUR FACE. When you pop a pimple it’s like an explosion of germs all over your face and even some of those germs are getting pushed back underneath the skin just to form more pimples. If you need to get rid of a pimple try a spot treatment or hold an ice cube over it for about 10 minutes the ice helps the swelling go down!
5. Wash you pillow cases
People often for get this put your take care of your pillow cases. They touch your face for several hours when your sleeping, you don’t want to sleep in the grease from your hair of the dirt from someone’s hand, or clothing. Your skin heals itself when your sleeping it repairs any damages..etc you don’t want it working in oil or rubbing your face in it. So make sure your pillows are nice and clean and that what you put on them is clean as well.
Please was your hair, and don’t have it constantly in your face. Hair holds oil and dirt and when it goes on your face it’s a disaster so just keep it clean.
Whether you have oily skin or not you need to moisturize your skin. If you don’t your oil glands kick in to over drive. more oil = bad skin
8. I want to see you sweat
And so does your body. When you work out and begin sweating your pores open to release the toxins and breathe in more oxygen. Oxygen helps give your skin a youthful nice healthy glow and makes you just feel great. And hey, even if you don’t feel like working out in the gym work out at home pop in a tape, go to a sauna or just have sex as long as your sweating I won’t tell.
9. Wash your face.
Remove all your make up and clean out those pores from inhaling the pollution in the air. Baby wipes are a great way to remove makeup and have a fresh canvas to wash your face on. Late night? Just wipe your make up off anything is better than sleeping with it on. Even your make up absorbs those toxins and holds them in, your skin can breathe thus looking dull. Also about once a week or so give your facial just to pull those toxins out.
Take your vitamins or make sure your getting them in some kind of way whether it’s eating the right stuff or taking a pill you can never be wrong.
Get some sun. Safely of course. I go out and get a little tan even now and then with some SPF 15 or higher on just to give my skin a sun kissed glow. You don’t have to go sit out in the sun a literally tan but just sit in the sun and let the warm rays kiss your skin. Make sure you don’t stay out there to long, to much sun can cause uneven skin tone skin discoloration and skin cancer. To avoid that try a GRADUAL tanner. The reason I stress the gradual is because honestly it looks better and you won’t come out orange, or try a tinted moisturizer!
12: Anti- Aging
Don’t believe the hype that anti aging is only for when your older. USE IT NOW it’s to PREVENT wrinkles that are forming. Not erase the ones that are already there! Now don’t start buying the really expensive ones buy something that puts calcium in your skin that restores the damage. Use if every now and then maybe once a week or so and you’ll be fine.

Hello little bots it’s that time of year again when the changes begins and the creative thoughts start forming. So as my “new” look if you will. I’m going completely blonde well on my bangs at least. I’m going to keep the sides the color that they are, I don’t know maybe the sides too, hmm, either way I’m going blonde for the summer, maybe in the winter I will go darker maybe a dark brown but I’m in no rush to go back to black! The shade of blonde that I’m thinking is featured on Kelis (above) only because we have a similar face shape and are the same skin tone. Anyways I’m so excited about this change! I get to be more versatile in my make up and dress style etc.. So… tell me what you think in the poll below or leave a comment I love to hear back from you guys!
